Is it just me? Or, are you also gasping for air every time you look at these photo fliers for SF Fashion Awards? I'd say, "Fashion Smashion" is worhty of a nomination of best blog. I recall last year's best blog originated from a foreign country which contradicts the title of the event. I'm still confused on how the voting process goes. It seems to me that this is a popularity contest because the producer and his closest posse are all on the list.

Buzzkill: Nominees asking to vote for them via" Facebook or email is so 'very' unclassy. The best don't necessarily win the award. Anymore nominees desperately asking for votes via" email or Facebook will be given the evil eye during the event. If you consider yourself the best of a specific category, why campaign for votes.

I did vote for someone that I owed one from last year. These type of sense of entitlement attitude from these unworthy wannabes is very counter productive for EsEf's local fashion scene. I know, I was the parking lot attendant of last year's event. Hint: Be true to yourself and your life's passion and the sincerest people will follow along.
