I'm befuddled with the word "Playa", it is not because English is my second language but how the term is being used nowadays. The word "playa" is now synonymous to anything Burning Man. I know, it's means "beach" and for a Burning Man reveler, the word in question is very much a given. I view these fashion ensembles as immature 'rave' outfits, in other words... they're too costumy for my taste. I personally prefer a "Mad Max" inspired outfit as more fitting fashion statement for the popular event in the desert.
